We're excited to announce that we are at the final stages of preparation to open the Shops of Lytle and Visitor Center.  The shop will permanently host a number of small businesses selling locally crafted and sourced goods.  The shop will also serve as the City of Lytle Visitor Center offering information to visitors and residence about services and events in Lytle and the surrounding areas.  We are targeting early Feb as a ground opening.  Keep checking back for more details and an exact grand opening date.

Yesterday evening, several people needing shared retail space met me at the proposed location in the front part of Southbound Pottery (across from Bakery Pub).  The unanimous consensus among those in attendance is to proceed with the space; however, to ensure the Chamber can afford to take this leap, I need additional information.  If you are interested in a portion of shared space on Main Street, please complete the below form.

There are the details you may be wondering... subject to change:

    - The Chamber will purchase a single point of sale system for the shop.

    - The Chamber will hire a cashier to attend the shop and manage the point of sale system including new retailer inventory and sales reports.

    -  The Chamber, by law as a Marketplace, will be required to collect and report State and County Sales tax for the entire shops.

    - The Chamber will need to issue 1099-NEC

After months of engagement with the City of Lytle, the Chamber has successfully lobbied for the allocation of funds to replace the ageing city billboard with a more modern, full color, elevated, digital sign.  The sign will be used to inform the population and will be available for local businesses to advertise.  We are still working out the details but intend to offer an advertisement discount to Chamber members.
